And At the Heart of Fleetwood RV, Love for Their Customers

When you see, "Fleetwood for Sale," you may not realize how much history stands behind Fleetwood RVs – new and old. The history of how Fleetwood RVs came into existence dates back to 1950. It all started when its founder John C. Crean was in the travel trailer window blind business. Originally Crean and his wife manufactured and sold a line of blinds specifically manufactured for travel trailers. The Creans' lives changed after a customer, an RV dealer, saw a side project of Crean's – a custom-built travel trailer (the first Fleetwood motor home). The dealer liked it so much, he contracted Crean to build travel trailers to meet the dealership's summer-season demand. This is how Fleetwood RV (originally named Coach Specialties Company and then renamed to Fleetwood Enterprises) started.

When Lazydays opened in 1976, Fleetwood motorhomes were a part of our original product offerings. Our relationship with Fleetwood RV has lasted over the decades for so many reasons, which can be attributed to the core values that Fleetwood RV shares with Lazydays. The value we both treasure the most – the love for our customers. Another value, is going above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. When the economy took its downturn and caused what could be considered one of the most-difficult times in Fleetwood RV's over half-century history, they stood by their customers and dealerships by maintaining the Fleetwood ownercare warranty. Another example of Fleetwood RV's dedication to its Lazydays family of customers is that they now have an on-site service tech available to help take care of our customers' Fleetwood motor home needs. Also, Fleetwood RV has one person solely dedicated to ordering parts for Lazydays' service department. Now that's service!

Our love for you and listening to your needs and wants is what keeps Fleetwood RV and Lazydays on the path to continual improvement for our product and service offerings. We want to keep you in the family and make you a customer for life.
