Lazydays® Named #1 Carriage Dealer Nationwide
June 25, 2004 – (Seffner, FL) – Lazydays® RV SuperCenter® (“Lazydays”), the nation’s number one recreational vehicle (“RV”) dealer was recognized by Carriage, Inc. as the #1 Carriage dealer in the nation for model year 2004. This is the fifth consecutive year that Lazydays® has had record-breaking performance in all Carriage product lines. “Lazydays® has represented Carriage for over a decade and is a vital partner in our dealership network,” said Dave Lawson, Carriage VP of Sales and Marketing. “We are proud to be part of their winning team.”
In addition to the #1 Carriage dealer award, Lazydays® received the C.T. Yoder dealer award for the third consecutive year. The C.T. Yoder award is highly recognized throughout the industry for the philosophy from which it was derived. Lazydays® was founded in 1976 in Tampa, Florida and relocated in May 1996 to a much larger RV destination complex in Seffner, Florida, which is just east of downtown Tampa. The dealership is located on 140 acres with an 83,000 sq. ft. main building, 1,200 RV display sites, 273 service bays and 300 RV campsites. Lazydays® represents 18 manufacturer brands and sells 165 models of new RV’s. The dealership’s expansive complex requires a fleet of 170 golf carts to move both customers and employees throughout the property. The site has a 40,000 sq. ft. Camping World store, a Cracker Barrel Restaurant and a Flying J RV Travel Plaza.
