The anticipated Tampa Gun Show is just around the corner. Fire up your RV and cruise down to the Sunshine State to attend the show, presented by Suncoast Gun Shows, on Aug. 8 and 9. The show will be filled with something for everyone, whether you’re a hunter, gun collector or simply a gun enthusiast.
Event Details
The 2015 Tampa Gun Show will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $9 for adults, and kids 12 and under get in free. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to attend the show.
The Suncoast Gun Show will be held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa at 4800 U.S. Hwy 301 N. Directions to the Florida State Fairgrounds can be found on the fairgrounds website as well as the Suncoast Gun Shows site. Keep in mind that credit cards will not be accepted for admission.
What to Expect
When you arrive at the Suncoast Gun Show in Tampa, you’ll be blown away by the massive selection of guns and accessories, including a number of rare and hard-to-find items. Visitors are welcome to bring guns to the show to trade, sell or have appraised by the experts. Your gun will be checked by security personnel and will be bound with a plastic strap that ensures it will not fire.
Be sure to unload your gun and leave any ammunition at home or in your vehicle be entering the show. Concealed weapon holders will have to abide by these rules as well.
