The 2016 Keystone Ultra lite Elite travel trailer makes it easier to hit the road for some summer fun and create lifelong memories, while allowing the kids to fill their pockets to tons of knickknacks.
If you are looking for a small couples coach that can be easily towed with a regular SUV or a larger family model that doesn’t need a big truck, then the Passport has many options just for you. You will be guaranteed to fill those blank pages of your scrapbook with fun stories.
What’s New?
Since the Ultra Lite was first introduced, it has grown from six floorplans to currently over 23, including the Elite models. The immediate difference between the 2016 Keystone Passport Elite and its sister products the Grand Touring and Express, is the exterior appearance.
2016 Keystone Passport Elite
Lazydays Photo The Elite offers a contrast of colors on the front and rear of the trailer. The windows are larger and the tires are larger with aluminum wheels. Plus, the graphics have been upgraded. Enhancements to the interior are impressive as well.
The coach features solid surface kitchen countertops and pendant lighting above the counter on select models. A choice of an arrangement of a comfortable 60”x80” queen bed and bunk beds is available in the Passport Ultra Lite Elite models. Some models include an outside kitchen. Along with all the extra comfort, this travel trailer’ LED lights makes it energy efficient. Plus, the lights are safe to touch with your bare hand. Other enhancements include stainless-steel appliances, two-tone radius interior walls, wooden mini blinds and more options to emphasize a more luxurious feel.
Construction
Underneath, the Elite is built very similar to its sister products. The crowned roof trusses are stamped and galvanized. An enclosed underbelly, aluminum-framed walls and floor and lighter, stronger PACO I-beam frame provide durability during travel and stability when camping. The larger frameless windows may be eye-catching, but are extremely functional. The larger windows are exclusive to the Elite in the Passport family.
Floorplans
Six different floorplans are offered with the Elite. The layouts were developed to provide the most comfort and an enjoyable lifestyle in an easily towable package. Some models feature a rear bath and front bathroom, while others have a rear bunkhouse, living room and entertainment center with a kitchen.
