Cave Springs Campground — Arizona
The Cave Springs Campground in Sedona, Ariz., is one of the best places to camp when you’re planning on exploring Sedona’s famous red rocks and the gorgeous Oak Creek Canyon. The campground is surrounded by breathtaking red sandstone walls, and swimming holes are just a few minutes away for those hot summer days. Fishing, hiking, birdwatching and swimming are just a few of the many outdoor activities you can enjoy along Oak Creek.
Carson National Forest — New Mexico
Camp in the comfort of your RV with a huge selection of hiking and mountain biking trails nearby at Carson National Forest in northeastern New Mexico. The Rock Wall is a famous mountain biking trail that passes through the Valle Vidal portion of the national forest and offers a variety of difficulties depending on the type of ride you want to take. Although, you don’t have to be a mountain biker to enjoy Carson National Forest; the area offers an endless list of outdoor activities for every season.
Valley of Fire State Park — Nevada
The Valley of Fire State Park is the oldest and largest state park in all of Nevada. Camping, picnicking, hiking, photography and countless other outdoor activities are enjoyed at this famous park. RV camping is permitted on site and a huge array of hikes are available to visitors. Stop by the visitor center when you arrive to find out more about the hike lengths and difficulties.
