An RV might not be the place you most expect to see a
6-foot-4-inch, 307-pound NFL offensive lineman, but that’s exactly where we met
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Center, Ali Marpet, after he returned from his trip to the
Florida Keys in a
2016 Dynamax
Force
.
“It was pretty darn big,” Marpet said of his Class C motorhome. “Especially when the slides came out!”
Lazydays is in its third year of a partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but this was the first time Marpet visited Lazydays RV in Tampa.
“There were RVs everywhere,” he said. “A ridiculous amount of acreage.” In fact, the Tampa RV dealership encompasses 126 acres and includes the largest selection of new and used RVs in the nation.
As a first-time RVer, Marpet took a few laps around the parking lot before driving the RV outside of the Tampa dealership, but as you can see, he looks pretty comfortable in the driver’s seat.
For Marpet, the trip was an opportunity to decompress after off-season workouts and the mandatory minicamp, and he enjoyed the opportunity to do nothing but relax for a few days.
“The massive bedroom TV was great for watching late night TV,” he said. “And the bed was very comfortable.”
