A new year means new beginnings, and that’s a reason to celebrate. But with so many awesome New Year’s Eve events happening across the country, it can be difficult to choose which one is just right for you. These three cities know how to ring in the New Year better than the rest, so you can count on having the time of your life.
New York City
Everyone should experience New Year’s Eve in the Big Apple at least once. Every year, roughly 1 million people gather in Times Square to watch world-renowned musicians take the stage as the 12,000-pound ball drops at midnight. If you’re not up for standing among the massive crowd, consider reserving a table at a restaurant or bar overlooking the square to take part in the grand event from a different angle.
Las Vegas
If you’re looking for non-stop entertainment this New Year’s Eve, Las Vegas is the place to be. This time of year, the Las Vegas Strip is even more action-packed than ever with a massive street party that rivals that of Times Square. Live bands, performers, pyrotechnic displays, and plenty of gambling can be found in all of Las Vegas’ famed casinos, but don’t fall asleep before seven city rooftops launch fireworks to ring in the new year.
Walt Disney World
Not all New Year’s Eve celebrations have to be adults-only. Walt Disney World hosts one of the country’s most magical New Year’s Eve events by keeping the park wide open until 1 a.m. on Jan. 1. The park features festive activities all day on Dec. 31, including Cirque du Soleil performances, fireworks displays, live entertainment, dance parties and confetti explosions.
Head to Epcot for a stunning laser and light show, and don’t miss Magic Kingdom’s Jingle Jungle Parade. Even better, Disney World is less crowded during the holidays, so you’ll enjoy shorter lines and more family fun.
Start the New Year With a Bang
There’s no better way to start the new year than with a brand-new RV from Lazydays in Tampa or Tucson. Our lots are loaded with discounted RVs for the holiday season, so you can spend more time adventuring in 2016.
