Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast or just looking for something new and exciting to do this week, you won’t want to miss the 44th Annual SUN ‘n FUN International Fly-In & Expo!
What Is It?
The SUN 'n FUN International Fly-In & Expo is a six-day aviation event, which will take place from April 10-15 on the SUN ‘n FUN campus in Lakeland, Florida. Headliners for 2018 include the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds flight demonstration team and the U.S. Navy’s F-18 Super Hornet TAC Demo. In addition to these headliners, you can expect to see an array of historic military aircrafts, including World War II fighters and bomber planes, along with two of the space program’s first astronaut training planes. There will be various air shows throughout the week, as well as plenty of other fun activities, including a car show, a hot air balloon launch, stargazing, dinner socials and more.
Who Will Be There?
This year, it’s estimated that there will be up to 200,000 participants, including pilots, aviation enthusiasts, exhibitors and RVers. As the event’s exclusive RV sponsor, Lazydays RV will also be on-site from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. with a display of new and used RVs for sale, RV accessories and RV rentals.
