Clear your schedule for Friday, April 17, because the Strings Across America concert tour will be kicking off right here at our Lazydays Tampa location. We’re partnering with the Heart Strings for Heroes foundation to aid our country’s wounded heroes, and the 16-city, five-month-long concert tour begins right here at 11 a.m.
What Is Heart Strings for Heroes?
Heart Strings for Heroes is an accredited 501c3 foundation dedicated to giving back to our nation’s heroes wounded in combat. The foundation provides free guitars to the combat heroes to assist them in the ongoing mental and physical struggles associated with their injuries. The Heart Strings for Heroes foundation has become so popular that it is supported by artists and bands like Willie Nelson, KISS, Ted Nugent, Judas Priest, Lynard Skynard, Billy Idol, Toby Keith, Nickelback and countless others.
The Heart Strings for Heroes Concert Tour
The Heart Strings for Heroes foundation doesn’t just give guitars to veterans, it helps support them in a number of other ways through a 16-city concert tour that extends to August. Each concert will feature 16 Purple Heart Combat Veterans, and 16 brand-new guitars will be given away throughout the concert series. Events are set to take place in Panama City, Biloxi, Houston, Dallas, Tulsa, Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Charlotte, Louisville, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, and the final show will take place in Sturgis, S.D.
Lazydays Will Be on Tour
Here at Lazydays, we’re some of the biggest supporters of the Heart Strings for Heroes Foundation and the Strings Across America tour. In fact, we’ve provided a luxurious Class A motorhome to accommodate the crew and serve as a mobile command center on the 16-week-long tour. You’ll know the tour has come to town when you see the Heart Strings for Heroes motorhome with our Lazydays logo on the side.
It Starts Right Here
