Elkhart, IN – Thor Motor Coach (TMC) has released 2016 Axis and Vegas Recreational Utility Vehicle (RUV) Class A motorhomes to the market. The Axis and Vegas have been the talk of the RV industry since their debut in 2014.
These motorhomes continue to draw new people to the RV lifestyle, eliminating the short- comings of a traditional SUV by providing a fully-functional living environment including a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and sleeping areas in a 25-foot package.
A new 25.3 floorplan layout compliments the overall line-up. A large driver’s side slide room allows for a walk around queen bed and ample closet space. The bathroom is fully featured with a large 32 x 32-inch shower. A cozy living space in the front of the unit mixes in a great combination of seating, entertaining and food preparation spaces.
Comfort and convenience are the focus of these RUVs and it starts behind the wheel. Driving the RUV feels effortless with the wide-open views through the windshield and side windows of surrounding traffic. Integrated side view cameras ease your mind while changing lanes, and the back-up monitor provides a convenient safety feature while parking. Your passenger is quite comfortable as well with their very own workstation in the front dash that can hold a laptop and charge it as well with 110-volt and 12-volt outlets nearby.
Comfort continues throughout the coach with new interior decors offering a warm, residential environment. Leatherette furniture provides a spot to relax as well as sleeping options. The RUV is perfect for families or even a girls’ weekend getaway. The rear bedroom gives a sense of seclusion for those wanting some extra privacy.
The best features of the RUV are truly hidden treasures. Above the cockpit seating, a power drop-down overhead bunk can be lowered with the touch of a button and features the brand new Cotton Cloud™ mattress. In the kitchen, the flip-up countertop provides extra space while cooking and the pantry conveniently pulls out to help you find that last can of tomatoes for your spaghetti.
TMC made substantial upgrades to this year’s Axis and Vegas RUV brands. They added a Bluetooth® coach radio system that connects to your smart phone or tablet. TMC’s RUVs also went green with new LED ceiling lighting to emit more light and cut the amount of power used from the house battery. “We’re constantly working on new, refreshing features to enhance the lifestyle of owners,” said Troy Schultz, Central Region Sales Manager for the Class C & Class A Gas Division.
Whatever destination awaits you, there’s an RUV made to fit your style. For more information on RUVs and the entire TMC 2016 line-up, visit our Lazydays Tampa and Tucson lots or log online to find the motorhome that's right for you.
